FAQs

  • We both have such large circles of friends and family, and it was really challenging for us to condense our list to a reasonable number. We kindly ask that you only RSVP for the individuals who were named on your save the date or invitation envelope. We are trying hard to keep our wedding as intimate and personal as possible, so we kindly ask that you only plan to attend with a date or plus one if your envelope indicated that it was an option. Thank you so much for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all!

  • We are asking that our wedding weekend be an adult only experience. We are inviting those of you with children to plan a weekend getaway for yourselves to disconnect from parenting and connect with us, nature and our friends as we celebrate our wedding. Thank you so much for understanding!

  • Pistol River is located midway between Gold Beach and Brookings, Oregon which is the southernmost part of Oregon just before getting to the California border.

  • Below you will find lots of information regarding flights. Before viewing, we recommend looking at the FLIGHT INFO page as we have outlined the best ways to get to the property from LA, NY, and MIAMI.

    Crescent City (50 mins)

    North Bend (2 hours)

    Medford (3 hours)

    Arcata/Eureka (2 ½ hours)

    Portland (5 1/2 hours)

    San Francisco (7 hours)

Most guests for weddings at Crook Point fly into Medford, Oregon (3 hours, one way). If Medford doesn't work and you have some extra time on either side of the wedding, then fly to either Portland (usually 6 hours, one way) and San Francisco (7-8 hours, one way) and enjoy the drive either up or down the coast. From SFO, you take HWY 101 the entire way and 101 cuts through our family property. Coming from Portland, you could take the long way over (extra hour drive to Tillamook (yes- that is where the cheese is made) and then down HWY 101 the entire coastline. The fastest route from Portland is down I5 to HWY 38 (Drain) and that takes you down the Umpqua River to the coast at Reedsport. From there take HWY 101 to Crook Point.

  • Yes. You will need to rent a car as the location is pretty remote. The beautiful thing is that there is so much incredible scenery around to explore that you will thoroughly enjoy the commute anytime you are driving!
